I get by with a little help...

So I decided to put a website together on the different things that I'm up to right now. It's been a fun affair that's enabled me to reconnect with friends while learning about website creation. To start, I comissioned the illustrations from Aimée. It was a nice way to reconnect with her since the conference in France and needless to say, I was floored by her work. Jim  stepped up and helped with the Drupal site shell. We met over coffee and drinks (at Laika, at Café Souflé) and he was able to take my sometimes vague, frequently contradicting comments and integrate them into a cohesive whole. Andrew then worked up a custom theme for the site, making it look pretty. Sophie then helped me with french-language proofing and editing. I'm grateful to all of them and everyone else who's offered helpful feedback.

This site is designed using Drupal, a free open source content management system. I figured that if I was going to have a site, I might as well have a site that I can mess around with once it's up and going.I hope that this'll be a first step towards getting more technologically savvy.
